With 18 years of expertise in residential real estate, Jacob Antillón has successfully navigated two decades of real estate, encompassing market lows ranging from the 2007-2008 financial crisis to the rapid housing growth during 2020-2022. As the owner of Nextvalorem Appraisal, Jacob combines technical precision with industry knowledge, offering top-tier appraisal and real estate services.

Jacob earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2005. His technical background, coupled with an unwavering attention to detail, enabled him to transition seamlessly into real estate in 2006. Since then, Jacob has worked as both a real estate broker and appraiser, mastering the complexities of the Denver Metro residential market in diverse areas.

Jacob holds the prestigious SRA and AI-RRS designations from the Appraisal Institute, which are certifications obtained by professionals with advanced skills in residential valuation, consulting, reviews, and investment analysis. Over the years, he has completed thousands of appraisals, working on properties ranging from small condos and tract homes to multi-million residential estates and custom luxury homes, as well as multi-family and investment properties.

At the core of Jacob’s approach is a passion for delivering detailed, high-quality services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and young daughter. He’s an avid chess player, enjoys snowboarding, and has been consistently training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for several years.

Brent Henry, SRA, AI-RRS

With over 30 years of experience in the appraisal industry, Brent Henry is a highly qualified and trusted residential appraiser specializing in high-end custom luxury homes and complex properties not only in the Denver Metro area but also throughout Colorado. As a state Certified residential appraiser and SRA, AI-RRS designated appraiser with the Appraisal Institute, Brent has developed a comprehensive understanding of residential properties, market conditions, and valuation methodologies and has appraised over 10,500 properties since 1990 including unique estates, mountain homes, luxury penthouses, vacant land and custom luxury homes in excess of $15,000,000.

Brent is a third generation appraiser, who combines deep industry experience with a strong track record of appraisal experience with over 175 appraisal cases ranging from expert testimony for divorce, city or county tax appeals/valuations, reviews of possible bias, misleading fraudulent appraisals, eminent domain/condemnation work, construction defects, Real Estate Broker reviews of contracts and or office policies, and expert on newbuild (spec home) issues.

Brent graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and a minor in Political Science. On his free time, Brent enjoys playing golf, hunting and working on his car collection.

APPRAISAL INSTITUTE SRA, AI-RRS DESIGNATIONS

Appraisal Institute SRA, AI-RRS Designated members have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience and demonstration of knowledge, understanding and ability. All Appraisal Institute professionals adhere to a strictly enforced Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Practice, underscoring their commitment to sound and ethical professional practice.

To become a SRA, AI-RRS Designated member of the Appraisal Institute, an individual must:

  • Have good moral character;
  • Meet standards and ethics requirements;
  • Pass rigorous education requirements;
  • Submit residential experience which must meet strict criteria; and
  • Receive credit for the demonstration of knowledge requirement.

Continuing education requirements help  Designated members stay informed of developments pertaining to real property appraisals, enabling them to provide appraisals reflecting the latest in professional appraisal practice.
