Jacob Antillón, SRA, AI-RRS owner of Nextvalorem Appraisal, is a Certified Residential Appraiser in Colorado with 17 years of appraisal experience and has completed thousands of residential appraisals with varying levels of complexity ranging from small condominiums, townhomes, high-rise luxury condos, horse and acreage properties, 2-4 unit multi-family income properties, proposed high-end custom homes, among others.

Jacob holds the SRA and AI-RRS designations from the Appraisal Institute, which are held by professionals who have the training and preparation to provide a wide range of services related to residential properties, including providing opinions of value, evaluations, reviews, consulting and advice regarding investment decisions and other appraisal services.

Nextvalorem Appraisal is a small local residential appraisal business devoted to personalized valuation services and high-quality appraisals. Nextvalorem is based in Denver Colorado and specializes in residential appraisals in the Denver Metro Area for a variety of intended uses such as: pre-listings, FSBO, divorce cases, financial planning and trusts, estates and date of death, tax appeals, internal decision making, business equity, and others.

Appraisal Institute SRA Designated members have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience and demonstration of knowledge, understanding and ability. All Appraisal Institute professionals adhere to a strictly enforced Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Practice, underscoring their commitment to sound and ethical professional practice.

To become a SRA Designated member of the Appraisal Institute, an individual must:

  • Have good moral character;
  • Meet standards and ethics requirements;
  • Pass rigorous education requirements;
  • Submit residential experience which must meet strict criteria; and
  • Receive credit for the demonstration of knowledge requirement.

Continuing education requirements help SRA Designated members stay informed of developments pertaining to real property appraisals, enabling them to provide appraisals reflecting the latest in professional appraisal practice.
